This was an amazing interview with Laurell K. Hamilton. I have been a fan of all her writings, especially the Anita Blake series, since a friend turned me on to her a few years ago. Now, seeing pictures to accompany the words, via the comic books, is a great addition to the already marvelous world of Anita Blake. As a writer myself, I admire the way she protects her work as if it were her own child and strive for that kind of integrity in my own work.

Laurell is a delightful interviewee. I do interviews weekly and have found some people a challenge to get good material from, but Laurell simply flows information.

Her books are wonders, that I love and won't part with. I feel as if she lives in different worlds than I do. I have also read the first comic book and found it interesting. Not sure I like it as well since I want more information faster than the comic provides it.

Thank you for the wonderful interview.

I've gotta say, before I started getting into the preternatural and supernatural stuff I was very into her older series; Nightseer. Although she's been writing books longer than I have been born. But I love her writing. Honestly, it inspires me. My view of the world, how everything really isn't exactly black and white; and the more I read Anita Blake, the more I see that moral.

She's my hero.
